David established Framework Engineering in 2002, and is principal in charge of management, structural engineering and technical oversight. He specializes in bringing expert knowledge to high-energy projects by utilizing real-world techniques and a deliberate approach.
Over his 17 year career, David has worked on projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Western United States. David’s background covers a broad spectrum of building types, sizes, ages of construction, and architecture. His expertise includes residential improvements, earthquake repair, seismic analysis/upgrades, commercial renovations, educational, and government structures.
David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Ohio State University, and a Masters of Science degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Davis. He is a licensed Civil Engineer registered in California and is nationally certified by the Structural Engineering Certification Board.
He is a member of the Structural Engineering Association of Northern California (SEAONC), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
