Dr. Vukasich has served as a structural engineering consultant at Framework Engineering, Inc. since its inception in 2002, performing structural analysis and design on a wide variety of unique structures. Dr. Vukasich has developed and continues to maintain and update Framework’s ever current Code-based structural calculation systems.
Dr. Vukazich has over 23 years of experience in structural analysis and design. He is both a registered Civil Engineer and Structural Engineer in California. His expertise includes nonlinear dynamic modeling of structures, simulation based reliability assessment of structures, and full scale testing of reinforced concrete and timber structures.
He has been involved in testing at UC Davis for the CUREE-CalTech Woodframe Project and full scale psuedodynamic testing of concrete structures at the European Laboratory for Structural Analysis (ELSA) in Ispra, Italy. He has co-authored a textbook for probabilistic assessment of structures in collaboration with the Czech Republic Academy of Sciences. Dr. Vukazich also developed “The Apartment Owner’s Guide to Seismic Safety”, a guidebook for apartment owners used by the City of San Jose.
